Man killed in hit and run case

A private insurance company employee riding a scooter died after being hit by an unidentified speeding vehicle near the Ambience Mall on the Delhi-Jaipur expressway. An FIR was registered at the DLF Phase 3 police station.

According to the police, the incident took place opposite the mall on the expressway at around 8 am on Tuesday. The deceased, identified as Anshul Bassi, a resident of Uttam Nagar, was on the way to his office at Sector 18. A speeding vehicle hit his scooter and the driver fled from the spot. Anshul was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead.

On the complaint of Nishu Bassi, sister of the deceased, an FIR was registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the DLF phase 3 police station on Tuesday.

A senior police official said they were trying to identify the vehicle and the driver would be arrested soon.
