Rohtak, August 28
The Social Unity Centre of India (SUCI-Communist) has announced its candidates for seven more Assembly segments — Kosli (Rewari), Ateli (Mahendragarh), Bhiwani, Pundri (Kaithal), Badshahpur (Gurugram), Sonepat and Rai (Sonepat) — for the upcoming elections. It has already fielded Manisha Mokhra from Rohtak.
SUCI state secretary Comrade Rajendra Singh, while giving the information here today, said the candidates had been selected after discussing various factors prevailing in the political landscape of the state.
“Ram Kumar Nimoth from Kosli, Om Prakash from Ateli, Raj Kumar from Bhiwani, Baburam from Pundri, Balwan Singh from Badshahpur, Ishwar Singh Rathi from Sonepat and Devender from Rai have been fielded for the Assembly polls,” he said.
“The SUCI Communist has no alliance with any party. It believes in furthering the revolutionary politics of mass movements, hence it is in the election fray to raise the voice of the common man in the Vidhan Sabha. It is the misrule of the Congress party that had paved the way for the anti-farmer, anti-labourer, anti-employee BJP to come to power in 2014 but now the people have made up their mind to oust the BJP from power in the state,” said Rajendra.
