Students of the Interact Club of the vidyalaya brought smiles on the faces of the residents of Akal Old Age Home by celebrating Raksha Bandhan with them. As many as 16 students, accompanied by two teachers Anita Ranjan and Kanwar Preet Singh, participated in the event, spreading love and warmth among the elderly residents. The event was filled with emotion as the students tied rakhis on the wrists of the elderly, symbolising the bond of protection and care. The gesture was reciprocated with blessings, laughter, and heartfelt conversations, making it a memorable day for both students and residents. Principal Gulshan Kaur expressed pride in the students and teachers for their participation in the noble cause, emphasising the importance of such interactions in building a caring and compassionate society.
