Mukand Lal Public School, Yamunanagar

An Inter-school English Debate Competition-2024 was organised by the school. The competition witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 196 students from 32 schools of different cities — Ambala, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Barara, Nahan and Yamunanagar. There were different topics for various groups. For classes III-V, the topic was “Outdoor games: A necessity for young ones”; for classes VI-VIII, “ Oh! Perhaps my God needs the Godman the most”; for classes IX –X, “Agniveer is the need of the hour”; and for classes XI-XII, “Centralised entrance test system is the best system”. Contestants presented their views with lots of confidence, clarity of thoughts and perfect voice modulation. The contest was followed by the much-awaited prize distribution to the winner teams. Principal Seema Kataria congratulated the participants.
