2 arrested with three pistols

A Ferozepur native, Akashdeep (22), and a juvenile have been arrested with three countrymade pistols near the Bhagomajra toll plaza. The SP (Investigation), Jyoti Yadav, said the two belonged to a dera near Amritsar and had bought the pistols from Meerut for Rs 66,000. They were nabbed by the CIA staff of Kharar yesterday.

Efforts were on to nab the main accused who provided money for buying the pistols, the police said.
